The Statement Desk

Aerin Lauder should certainly know a thing or two about pulling an emsemble together. Often one of the best routes to take is simply to choose one dramatic statement piece - in her office and her closet, her piece of choice is a bold, impactful desk. Whether sharp straight lines or softer curves and curls, undoubtedly it's the first thing you see when you enter the room. With a desk like one of these, it may actually be difficult to look away - perhaps that's the strategy to stay focused on work? (I'll go with that theory, any excuse to buy beautiful furniture... I've convinced myself that I would be exponentially more productive...)
