See, red doesn't have to be so scary, it can be as simple as a collection of an autumn favourite - crisp McIntosh apples, or one of the items on my kitchen wish list - beautiful cookware by La Creuset (although, from the above quote, perhaps it may be a little more aesthetic than functional here.)

Love that bedroom and kitchen!
AG - sounds lovely! Totally agree, even the smallest spot of red instantly grabs your attention.
Daniella + Jamie - so simple, but just perfect!
Mmm, I'm in love. When can I move in!
After me, I already called it first! :)
I saw this in Instyle! I love Michael AND his apartment! So beautiful, ofcourse....
simple yet elegant...
very michael kor-ish.
You're right Bananas - it really is a good fit
Wow! I love it! I am so not surprised though!
Very nice -- you can totally tell that this is his space -- the perfect tailoring throughout his home, just the right accessories, and bits of color. I share his love of streamline benches and large leaves. Pretty chic!
Just as fresh, clean, elegant as his clothes.
I love designing with black. A couple of years ago, I styled my showroom in all black and white....not too many customers got it....
It's such a great space isn't it! Thanks for showing it!
Francine - perhaps like so many great artists you are misunderstood in your time ;) I think it sounds lovely x
Sarah - totally agree, the large leaves are such a beautiful, dramatic statement (and maybe a good option for those of us without a green thumb).
This is exactly how we would have pictured Michael Kors' West Village apartment. This is uber chic and simple, as well as very open and spacious. Some more color accents would have surely made the space pop even more.
