Figo restaurant, Toronto

Toronto has no shortage of fantastic restaurants to try, but even still it keeps surprising me recently with its abundance of beautifully designed spaces to devour while enjoying a delicious meal. Figo, an Italian restaurant designed by the Toronto design firm Studio Munge. Light, bright and airy, the space is thoroughly modern with a bit of soft feminine flair in pastel tones. While beautifully designed throughout, the real showpiece is the ceiling mural of soft pink roses. It provides an artistic focal point to the space without being distracting or overbearing.
