Top Brass in the kitchen

This striking kitchen designed by Blakes London is a beautiful study in contrasts. Slick modern cabinetry and clean lines juxtapose with worn rustic wood furniture and an old fashioned stove. A large moody dark wall shows off the bright, mirrored brass backsplash and contrasts with the off white walls and cabinetry. There is even a mix of two different tones of brass - in the pendants above, more warm and antiqued; and on the kitchen island and backsplash, more sleek and shiny. This combination of features come together to create a space that is both unique and very interesting, difficult to pin down to just one style or time period.

Love this kitchen. The shiny brass end caps are striking and I love the warmth of the muted antique brass lighting.
