Shadow play: Blairgowrie, Australia

The play of light and shadows is often so fascinating to watch. One of the coolest tricks that designers and architects have in their arsenal is figuring out how to manipulate this light and use it to create stunning visual poetry. The gorgeous home was designed by Wolveridge Architects is a beautiful example of how powerful these effects can be. Set within the natural Australian landscape in Blairgowrie, the home has a lightness to it that also helps it blend in rather than compete with the natural beauty. Quite deservedly, this home is currently nominated in the Australian Interior Design Awards. If you have some time and love gorgeous interiors, be sure to check out the shortlist here
