Just breezy: an open concept home in Madrid, Spain

The weather has taken a turn for the very much better lately. Bright sunshine, soft breezes and everything out in full bloom. It almost feels a bit of a crime not to spend every possible moment outside enjoying it all. The beautiful home in old Madrid, Spain has a breezy open feeling that allows you to fully enjoy the indoors and outdoors simultaneously.

This home has an incredible amount of curb appeal to me. Not grandiose or ostentatious, just an understated modern door within a shady courtyard surrounded by beautiful greenery.

The entrance is kept open and uncluttered, lending to the expansive feeling of the home.

The focus of the home is on the indoor / outdoor aspect - each room boasts large windows or open shutters that lead out to the courtyard and garden spaces.

Bold artwork dominates a lounge area outfitted with slick modern sofas that opens out to the courtyard. Louvered shutters keep the space breezy and open.

There's a beautiful blend of more ornate traditional and slick modern furniture that creates a very timeless yet contemporary look.

An old Louis Vuitton trunk adds a touch of glamour acting as the coffee table in the lounge area within the bedroom.

The home is built around an open courtyard with a water feature.

While the home also boasts a lovely dining room, I'm pretty sure I'd be enjoying most of my meals out here.

A stunning entrance outside which leads to a very captivating entrance inside…and then onto a house of much charm and sophistication. Truly gorgeous!
