Four favourites: in black and white

We're at that point of winter where we've all but given up hope that Spring may ever return. One brief mild and sunny day brought up our hopes, only to have them dashed aside by another snowstorm. While the bright colours of Spring are still hanging back around the corner, for now the outdoors remains in stark black and white (with some slushy grey in between) - and that, after all is the classic combination that I love most. So in the spirit of embracing the last days of winter, here are a few favourite picks in black and white.

1. HRM QE2 Stamp - this is a piece I created based on the classic British postage stamps. I have a large version of these in my living room. If you'd like, you can purchase them in my Etsy shop here (and feel free to let me know if you are interested in any customizations too)
2. Black and White alpaca blanket from Cambie Design - these blankets are super soft and very warm  to cuddle up with on snowy evenings. I have one in fuchsia on my sofa but I'd love to get another in black and white (so I don't have to share anymore!)
3. Zanini Ring from Kelly Wearstler - I love a good statement ring and this geometric style in onyx and shell inlay would be a bold but very versatile piece.
4. Brihoni suzani dhurrie currently at One Kings Lane in a strong but classic pattern to add a bit of a statement underfoot, and because after spending a whole winter together my current neutral rug is feeling a little boring.
