Dive right in: an elevated swimming pool

Happy Weekend everyone!

It's gonna be a hot one here in Toronto and I have a feeling that much of this weekends activities will involve efforts to try and keep cool, and with any luck - maybe even a bit of swimming  (one of my most favourite things). As my thoughts become consumed with swimming pools, I kept thinking back to this amazing one. Set within a home called Casa Devoto in Argentina, the Andrea Remy Architectural firm decided to make this striking and unusual swimming pool the focal point of the entire property. Built up and elevated a few feet off the ground, the pool was built with one glass wall which acts as a window with views from inside and outside the water.
What I wouldn't give right now to dive right in...

No swimming necessary then - I think a floating raft with a cocktail would do just fine! - and no talk of losing weight - otherwise I might have to push you in! ;)

Oh yes, I could seriously do with one of these in my garden.
