One of my very favourite things to do growing up was building forts - whether it was outdoors in the avocado trees in our garden, or inside with bedsheets for some reason I never grew tired of this game. I loved this idea from designer Justina Blakeney on Design*Sponge for a Valentine's fort. The perfect little getaway for two for when you can't actually get away. Cozy up with a favourite book, some tea and your favourite cuddling partner and you've got the perfect weekend staycation...

This is definitely a grown up fort. It looks warm and inviting.
That looks extremely cozy and inviting - and so romantic! What a great idea. I loved making creative forts like this when I was younger ... I suppose I still do. :)

I love little tent forts, whether they be indoor or outdoor, because they instantly take me back to being a kid and playing with my best girlfriends!
Cheers!
