Merry + bright: the holidays in technicolour

Christmas always brings about the notion of a particular palette - bright red and green, shimmering metallics and white, pine boughs and pointsettias. While I love the comfort and familiarity of a traditional Christmas with all the classic elements and colours, I also really believe that these special occasions are a great chance to express yourself through your own favourite colours or things that make you happy; to celebrate life, create new traditions or simply have a little fun experimenting.

While I generally stay true to my own favourite palette of black and white mixed with metallics, I find it so refreshing to see the array of fun alternatives and personalized touches of an unconventional palette. The options are limited only to your own imagination...
A yellow Christmas, anyone?

Here's a little candy coloured inspiration to get you thinking...
