It's here! The first of December - the first day in a month that always seems to hold a little bit of magic. Mr M and I have been having a constant Thanksgiving vs Christmas debate. He - in favour Thanksgiving for its wholesome values and the less commercial aspect, but for me, Christmas always wins hands down - it's the magic! Not just the gifts (although I definitely like the gifts), not just the food (love that too!), not the parties (always partake in those) - it's everything about the season. A feeling of wonderment, people collectively desiring to make the world a more beautiful place, being a little bit kinder, more thoughtful, making that extra effort. The world somehow just seems a friendlier place to be. It's the magic...
Here's to a Happy December + a holiday season filled with little bits of magic !

I think there's a specialness to Christmas that isn't tangeable.
And also... it's more than just one day! It's a while of feeling festive. You just have to make sure to not get too caught up in the stresses!
