At home: Ralph Lauren's Manhattan Apartment

Ralph Lauren's Manhattan apartment is just what you'd expect from his eponymous brand's reputation for understated elegance. An all white space characterized by smooth, clean lines and little hints of unadulterated luxury - high gloss lacquered surfaces, a plush fur throw, embossed crocodile lamp bases, the zebra print mirror - all little hints of one of his biggest signature looks - safari chic.

I loved the little pockets of brilliant red roses splashed throughout the space - I think this would be a fantastic holiday decorating idea for the modern minimalist. Still very festive but understated and oh, so chic.

I just love the strength of this simple vignette - not over accessorized, just a few powerful pieces.

Talk about a room with a view!
