Striking black and white stripes

The simplest pattern and palette of all but what a powerful impact! Black and white stripes throughout this space create a beautiful sense of flow and continuity. Used in multiple surfaces and mediums (from rugs and pillow to trays and curtains) and in different scales (from thin to thick) to add a little interest and contrast - and  of course, in the classic black and white that Scandinavians seem to have mastered. Bold, striking, compelling - yet oh, so easy.

P.S. More black and white Swedish favourites here and here.
