Living in (bright) colour

While I always find myself going back to the calm neutrality of all white interiors, every now and something bright and colourful will catch my eye and I'll be helpless to resist. This Shelter Island home captured me right away, the colours are vivid and equally intense and balanced with the large airy windows. The effect is cheerful and completely invigorating.

The bright, sharply angled walls make me feel I'm about to step into one of Gemma Smith`s bright faceted paintings

A bright, citrusy  punch to start the day!

Craving more bright colour inspiration? Head over to see Will at Bright Bazaar - a celebration of bright, happy colour and will definitely be a bright spot in your day.

I'm a neutral with a few pops of color kind of gal, but I get so excited when I see this kind of color. So fun...

I love the bedroom, the pink is so lovely, and it compliments the other colors rather then over powers them.... Now if I could just convince my boyfriend to paint our whole apartment pink!!!
