Sculptural details

Nothing beats lavishly ornate architectural details kept understated in a simple white.
Sculptural art built into the decor - all you need do is keep it simple and let the details shine.
The ornate details are balanced out by earthy casual details
- an organic jute rug and relaxed sofa.

beautiful! My only wish is the mirror above the sofa had some delicate detail to it ~ otherwise, perfect. :)

Lillian - don't you find everything just pops against a white background?

Hope you all had a beautiful, beautiful weekend!

I love this room! I don't regret painting much of my space white -- I totally agree -- the details stand out for this room, I love:

* the vase + flowers (entry)
* large, simple mirror
* those pillows!
* the floor

Hope you've had a wonderful weekend / xo
